How fees work
What sets the fee, and what you hear before you start.
Insurance we work with
Quietude Therapy is out of network with insurance plans, and we do not bill Medicare or Medicaid. If your plan reimburses out-of-network counseling, you can claim part of the fee back yourself.
Out of network with insurance plans
Medicare and Medicaid: not billed here
Plans that reimburse out-of-network care: ask your plan
If you pay yourself
Your fee depends on the length of the session, 30, 50 or 80 minutes, and it is given to you in writing before you start. A limited number of reduced-fee spots are held each season; ask about them when you write. HSA and FSA cards work, and a session canceled with 24 hours' notice is not charged.

Receipts for reimbursement
Each month you can ask for an itemized receipt (a superbill) with the dates, the session lengths and a diagnosis code, to send to your plan. Your plan will see that code. Whether it reimburses anything, and how much, is up to your plan, so ask before you start.
An estimate in advance
If you pay without insurance, you have the right to a written Good Faith Estimate of the cost of your care before you start. We send one before your first session. If a final bill is $400 or more above the estimate, you can dispute the bill. The estimate is not a contract.
Checking your benefits
Lidia does not check your benefits for you. Before your first session she gives you the questions to ask your plan: whether it pays for out-of-network counseling, and what it needs on a receipt.
What sets the fee
Three things decide your fee
The length
30, 50 or 80 minutes. A longer session costs more than a shorter one, and the fee is given to you in writing.
How you pay
Out of network with insurance plans, so you pay at the end of each session and can claim reimbursement with a receipt.
A reduced-fee spot
A limited number are held each season. Ask when you write, and we will tell you if one is open.
