By voice or video
Sessions by voice or video, from where you feel at ease
For people in South Carolina who would rather talk from home. The camera can be on, off, or there can be no screen at all.
Who it is for
People who find a camera tiring
Anyone for whom the drive is the hard part
Clients who want a phone call instead of a screen

What you need
A quiet corner and a way to talk
A private spot
A room where you will not be overheard, with headphones if that helps.
Any device
A phone, tablet or computer. We send a link before the session, or call you.
Your choice of camera
On, off, or a plain phone call. You can change your mind in the middle.
What this is not
Where voice and video sessions can happen
Lidia is licensed in South Carolina, so a session by voice or video is for someone who is in South Carolina at the time of the session. If you are traveling or live elsewhere, we cannot see you this way, and we can talk about who might.
A session by voice or video is not for an emergency. If you are in crisis, call or text 988; in an emergency, call 911. Length and frequency are the same as in the office, and each fee is given in writing before you start.
Questions
Three questions about voice and video
Can I keep the camera off the whole time?
Yes. Some people never turn it on, and that is fine.
What if the connection drops?
We switch to a phone call and carry on, and the time is not lost.
Is meeting by video the same as meeting in the office?
It is the same counseling and the same lengths. The only difference is where you sit.
Prefer to talk from home?
Write and say whether you want the camera on, off, or a phone call.
